Partners for Peace collabs with Maine Savings Federal Credit Union for match donation fundraiser
BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Partners for Peace has supported those affected by domestic violence in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties for decades.
That’s why Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has collaborated with them for the month of May to support survivors.
All month long any donation that is given is going to be doubled or matched by Maine Savings.
The director of development and engagement said it’s more important than ever for people to consider donations.
The uncertainty of federal and state funding has loomed over the organization but community collaborations like so will keep the resources fueling.
They’re looking to match donations all the way up to $10,000.
“We are really looking for our very generous community to come forward especially during this month in May come forward and make a donation,” said Casey Faulkingham.
“Consider a donation maybe a little higher than previously or join us as a new donor. We really want to raise that $10,000 and have a great impact on our community and survivors.”
Faulkingham went on to say donations can be an individual, group effort or business initiative.
