She raised four children and supported them in every way throughout her life. Blessed with some 30 descendants, she had a special relationship with each and was a confidant to many. One of her friends gave her a dish towel which read: “One friend can change your whole life.” That is an apt description of the way in which she nurtured her friendships.
Her faith in Christ was the foundation on which she built her life and shaped her roles as a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
