ATS Innova expands into Brazil with a team of highly-skilled water experts that can offer the best in drinking, waste, and agricultural water treatment.
MIDVALE, UT – Midvale-based ATS Innova, the Utah-based leader when it comes to technological solutions for advanced water treatment, is proud to announce its expansion into Brazil. Over two years ago, Richard Allred, CEO of ATS, and Reinaldo Stelzer, manager of the Brazil team rented a warehouse and established offices for the company in Brazil. For the last two years, they have worked tirelessly with the Brazilian government in acquiring licensing - working with the distributor, manufacturer, and importer as well.
With the expansion into Brazil, ATS do Brasil will have the ability to treat drinking, waste, and agricultural water, along with treating lakes and rivers. Brazil, being the largest economy in South America, has large needs for its people, including ensuring safe drinking water and wastewater treatment. Allred said this of the licensing. “We felt Brazil was a good first place to start for South America, to eventually expand throughout Brazil and in neighboring countries with expansion already beginning in Uruguay and Chile. This is another large step towards being stewards of humanity, the ultimate goal of ATS.”
Reinaldo Stelzer manages several employees who are well-qualified in water treatment science and solutions, providing for a well-balanced team who cares about the water needs of Brazil. “It really is a great challenge to start the company in Brazil. The rules are very strict and the licenses for the company to start selling are very time-consuming. However, I am grateful to have this opportunity to join the ATS family,” Stelzer said. He then added that joining these opportunities in South America to the many years of ATS experience in the U.S. – and still include the Brazilian team of qualified and willing people to work hard – will ensure an excellent recipe for success.
