Puerto Rico Relief: Perth Amboy Sending 360,000-Lbs. of Goods to Island

Mayor Wilda Diaz will honor the extraordinary outpouring of generosity by the people, business and nonprofits of Perth Amboy and the City’s community partners during the past three weeks. More than 336,000 pounds of much needed items were collected and are being sent to provide relief to Puerto Rico. An amazing effort that includes a collection drive as well as fundraising campaign to cover the cost for shipping to San Juan and the upcoming deployment of Perth Amboy Police Officers to Puerto Rico.

Mayor Diaz will be joined by local officials and business owners, companies and donors and drive organizers to share the tremendous efforts that have been displayed by all in the past 21 days.
